On the western bank of the Bránský Pond, a huge farmyard was built before 1722. Its ground plan, open towards the east, corresponds to the shape of the musical instrument lyre.

The courtyard was conceived as a dominant view from the windows of the western wing of the prelature and it is situated with a slight deviation on the main axis of the monastery complex.

The farm buildings were designed by the architect Jan Blažej Santini with the musical instrument ground plan symbolism. Although the farmyard is completely preserved in its shape, it has been damaged by numerous modern inappropriate modifications. To this day, the yard serves as a farm and is the property of the Kinský family.
