In connection with the establishment of the academy, Abbot Vejmluva rebuilt the conglomerate of buildings of the prelature from 1722. According to Santini's project, an entrance wing with a three-sided central layout was built in the years 1722-1727, containing an entrance hall on the ground floor and a monumental main hall on the upper floor.
The building is an example of the late "minimalist" style of Santini's work. The interior spaces were - in accordance with the requirements of aristocratic culture - conceived representatively. Their vaults are baroque variations on the late gothic rounded and star-shaped vault patterns. During the repairs after the fire of 1738, this wing was partially rebuilt in its eastern part.
By 1722, Santini had built an interesting building of stables for the noble academy near the abbey church.
The academy was intended by Abbot Vejmluva as a center for the education of young nobility from Bohemia and Moravia. It operated only from 1724 to 1740. Its activities were interrupted by the Wars of the Austrian Succession. An attempt to restore it after the end of the wars in 1750 was unsuccessful.
