Between 2016 and 2023, a series of repairs was carried out in the pilgrimage church at Zelená Hora, which significantly changed its interior and exterior and brought it closer to its original design as intended and implemented by Jan Blažej Santini.

Without a doubt, the biggest visual intervention was the removal of the cemetery, which had been gradually established here since the beginning of the 19th century. However, after the pilgrimage site was subscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the cemetery had to be removed due to its unoriginality.

The facades and stucco decoration of the church and the cloister were repaired. The statues of angels - shield bearers - were added to the roof of the main gate. New stations of the cross, a drinking fountain and a place of worship were built in the cloister. Benches were also installed there.
